Fireball

Parijat wrote his first test yesterday. But, my Dept. is still extending its decision whether to conduct a cycle test for single student {and that’s me}.Our Class Co-ord has informed that it will be discussed in the Class Committee meeting{and that’s tomm}.So, my cycle tests are really not back.

First years have arrived this week. College is full of new faces. Shopping centre busy with Drafter purchases, etc..

New faces,new experiences. I could recall the usual ways where you begin the talk with new-faces.

New face 1:Hey,you are from Anna Nagar right??
New face 2:Yes. Which room are you in??

New face 1:I got Compscee in Anna University, but I took my seat here just out of interest.
New face 2:Even I got a seat in BITS Pilani. But I felt NIT Trichy better{Really??}

New face 1:Are there any girls in your class {Ahem..}?
New face 2: Lots.. I can’t just concentrate the class.

New face 1: Is she from your school??
New face 2: She was my class mate da!
New face 1: {Face red!}

These were usual when we were in Firsty. Dunno what, the current first years may be talking more useful rather than these funny stuffs.

A spotlight of happenings @ NITT:

• Post Graduate Admissions started, new people are found asking the way to their departments.
• Anna University Counselling is going on in the campus.Vignesh’s brother got his seat in Anna {Compscee}
• NIT Trichy get its Swimming Pool re-opened, which remains almost full during the evening hours.
• {Nerdy} Second years have started two new clubs (or organisations)
  • RMI(Robotics & Machine Intelligence) - II yr Compsceez motivated by artificial intelligence
  • CodeLabs(Weekly Online Programming Contest) - The same batch organising weekly contests in NITT Intranet.

While people are too busy & creative, I’m still waiting for my cycle tests.
