Say "NIT Trichy"
After the great mix-up between NIIT and NITT in most of the newspapers, here , here and here,the alumni association of our college (alumni association) has decided to use “NIT, Trichy” instead of NITT , NIT-T .
So, if you are an NIT Trichy student, alumni please use “NIT, Trichy” ! Or be mixed up along with NIIT guys

PS: Yes, the boy-who-lived (the fat pay guy) is boxy (aka) bhaskar who actually chucked it and is going to Pennstate

I was so irritated seeing the news people refer to RECT as NIIT!! utter nonsense.. and I hate saying NIT either.. nothing like RECT
